2011 - 2012 Recitals

Mixed Instrumental
Saturday, November 5, 2011, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
All levels, instrumental (no vocals). Students play one piece. Violinists will need to provide their own accompanist or play solo. Duets and ensembles welcome. Students will be assigned to a one-hour time slot once all enrollments are in.

Honors Recital
Saturday, November 5, 2011, 5:00 p.m.
By invitation.

Holiday Concert and Singalong
Saturday, December 10, 2011, 6:00 p.m.
All levels, instrumental and vocal. Accompanist provided. Duets and ensembles welcome. Performances will be from 6:00 - 7:00, followed by a singalong at 7:00. Come for one or both!

Little Fingers Club
Thursday, January 19, 2012, 5:30 p.m.
A small workshop for young beginners. Highly recommended as a first performance event.  Held at the main studio.

Jazz, Pop and Country Night
Friday, February 3, 2012, 7:00 p.m.
All levels, instrumental and vocal. Accompanist provided. Duets and ensembles welcome.

These run all day, in hour increments according to teacher and instrument. More information will be provided as we get closer.

Family Night
Friday, May 18, 2012, 7:00 p.m.
Students perform with family members or friends.

 

To sign up for a recital: please download the white enrollment form from the link below; they can also be found on our bulletin boards. (Note that both you and your teacher must sign these.)

Then return the form to the office or leave it in one of the payment boxes in the Annex rooms. You can also email your enrollment to Linda (after you've discussed it with your teacher); please copy the email to your teacher.

Space is limited in all of the recitals except for the big ones in Spring, so make sure to get your enrollment into the office early if you'd like to participate. Enrollment for each event opens two months prior to it.

Recitals will be held at Holy Nativity Episcopal Church, 6700 W. 83rd St., Westchester.

They last about an hour and are free of charge,
although we do ask for a donation of canned food to benefit the LAX Food Pantry.
